Any luck gettin into Ross with a 2.5 or 2.7 GPA?

apply and see....and apply for jan/may semester that's when they have more open spots...they take 300 student

Let's be realistic. If you have a decent MCAT or great personality an personal statement then Ross wil take a chance on you even if it means you have to complete their 4 month MERP program prior to the MD program.

I'm a 4th yr now at Ross and there is a guy in my class who had a 2.9 gpa at a top university, w/ a 31 MCAT. He said that when he interviewed, the interviewer told him that his gpa was very low and didn't know if he'd be admitted. Take it for what its worth...

If you dont get an interview at Ross, there are certainly other schools you schould look into. Best wishes...

i am really interested in applying to the carribean also but i am kind of skeptical because my gpa is that low also. but i dont want them to think that i am applying because i have a low gpa, so i dont know if to do a postbac. first.

i failed out of an osteopathic medical school. i have a 3.2 gpa, and a 30mcat. do you think they would accept me? ive been told have a pretty nice personality and can write well.

i know i know... apply and see... well that is what im going to do. i hate having my past haunting me here though.... 🙁

I got in with a 2.8 gpa and a 21. Do you have an upward trend with your semester grades? things like that matter as well. What is your undergrad? they look at that as well.

a 2.5 from harvard would mean more than 2.5 from a small community college.
