I did a search of this already but the threads were outdated....I was looking through valumed.com & they were saying AUC is better....However on this website it says ross is better
Please explain which you think is better and why?
I was originally looking into Ross too. I think AUC is better because of the small class sizes. While Ross has ~600 new students per term, AUC has ~200 only in the most popularly enrolled term. This allows faculty to better teach and support students. It also allows for a much better peer environment.
AUC is also situated on the most "Americanized" of the caribbean islands of the Big 4 schools. It is not supposed to be important in terms of academics but students are people and it would be easier to take on medical school if we feel more at home.
I was drawn away from Ross because I kept hearing about their inability to place people in US clinicals due to lack of space. Also, the attrition rate at Ross is near 34%. I find it hard to believe that that entire 30% graduated somewhere else as transfers to US schools are much less than that. In that case, it would be kindest to believe that the 30% who did not graduate went to a lower tier school. However, a lot of the flack that caribbean medical schools are getting today comes from the loan defaults that have resulted from Ross students who could not continue medical schooling. This article can explain more clearly:

To be quite honest, from SGU to Ross to AUC and Saba, we all fight but for what? We are all caribbean medical schools and that is the way our school will be judged. We do not have the luxury of distinctions we would have had if we were attending US schools. The only "real" distinction in the caribbean is that between the Big 4 and everyone else.
The very best way to make a name for yourself as a medical student of promise is by your own hand. Get the very best GPA you can get, get the very best USMLE scores you can get and remember not to lose your humanity.
As I once heard a seasoned doctor in the US say, we all graduate from many different schools. When you begin working, you will find that the people sitting around the table with you are all intelligent but from many backgrounds. Just get into medical school and be a student worthy of having been accepted into the best medical schools in the world. That is the only way to succeed.
