What school is better if you wanna get residency in internal med/endocrinology, orthopedic surgery, cardiology, or radiology in the New York. Also, what school has students who transfer to US schools, namely in that what school would be a spot to transfer out of if I was considering that option.

Internal Med are not as competitive as the rest you mentioned.

I stole this from stephw.

SGU match 2005

She probably took it from here.

Look at Ross:

AUC

Other people will do the other schools I guess. Ross looks good too.

Take a lookie.

I dont think people can transfer out. If it is possible, then rarely.

I already took a look at these resources and that's why I have narrowed it down to Ross, SGU, and SABA. Your comment on people transferring--I have no experience of it, but there are alot of people who have posted stuff on SDN and VMD on them transferring. Someone posted a list of schools accepting foreign students on VMD, here it is:

Drexel (PA)- 11 openings this year!!
New York College of Medicine
Tulane (LA)
Marshall (WV)
George Washington (DC)
Northeastern Ohio
Indiana (IN residents only)
Brown (RI residents only)
Chicago Medical School
Mercer (GA residents only)
University of Vermont
University of Wisconsin
East Carolina University (NC residents only)

You should also check out this link: http://services.aamc.org/tsp_reports/, this a resource provided by AAMC on which schools have openings for 2nd and 3rd year transfers. The openings change every year so these are not set in stone.

Going back to my question: I wanted to ask which school would provide me a better chance to transfer to a US School, ROSS or SGU, or SABA for that matter?

In my year, 11 transferred into Drexel.

7 were from SGU
3 were from Ross
1 from Mexico

I hope this answers your question.

IM-endocrinology no problem from any school
Cardiology ..its a fellowship after IM, if you go to a decent IM residency program and do well there you should have a decent chance, not a school related issue. Ortho,Rads in NYC will be very difficult - but possible for a few from either school. Its how you do grades, boards etc.. and what connections you can make that will count most.
