Rotation in New Zealand?

Anyone have any recommendations for a place (or perhaps have contact information) to do a SA rotation/externship in New Zealand? Aiming for December 2011.

A good starting point are the NZVA BestPractice-accredited vet clinics. A list, with some web links, is here:

NZ vets are used to having Massey students "see practice" so usually are pretty open to having students around. Phone calls can get better results than emails for this sort of thing.




Sorry, forgot to mention that December can be a pretty slow time around here.

Yep! 🙂 6 more weeks of clinics, then finals and I'll be officially licensed in California. Five years just flew by.

I'm sure you're looking forward to Cali's weather after five years in NZ. The earthquake didn't affect you, did it?

No earthquake damage, thankfully. I am far away enough from Christchurch that all was felt was a little jolt.

Admittedly, I have been in the US doing 5 weeks of externships, so I missed the whole thing (and several weeks of cold and miserable winter 😀)
