I am thinking about doing a rotation in a ski resort where I can do a lot of skiing/snowboarding if possible.
Anybody with more information, experience, or suggestions?
specialty, location don't matter. As long as I can find some kind of housing.

The elective is only open to 4th years, and you have to apply pretty early in advance, but it has a great rep and sounds pretty cool.

When you can land...no, attempt...no no, when you can understand what a bs 270 lipslide to fakie out down a 16 stair kinked is, then I'll tell you a place you can go snowboarding from 9 to 3 and do your ER rotation from 5 - 9 p.m... I'll even give you Jordan Mendenhall's NEW 2007 Option snowboard that he gave me just this past week (there is snow in Utah's mountains) and his New Celsius boot model too...

OHSU? It's not that far from Timberline (see http://www.skitimberlinelodge.com ) Mt Hood Meadows, Cooper Spur (meh, ok skiing/boarding) Ski Bowl, etc etc etc. Of course, I just live on Mt Hood, I only know about the skiing/boarding, I don't go to school anywhere CLOSE to there so I have no idea about the rotations part. But the snow's world freaking class man, and I missed the best snow year in forty years last winter...not that I'm bitter or anything, not that I'm bitter....

A friend of mine did a radiology elective in Jackson Hole. (Through my school) I am doing a rotation in South Lake Tahoe in February. 👍
