Hi everyone,

Since the calculation section is fill in the blanks. I am gonna assume they will tell you what decimal place to round the final answer. But, if they don't tell you what I have to do?

Thank you

Hi Mateco,

I wouldn't round and put the answer as is. I used to round before I got to my answer, what a mistake. It just raised my error even higher at the end. So now I don't round anything unless Naplex tells me to.

Thank you for your advise!!!! I am studying from RX prep but they are not consistent. Sometimes they round to one decimal place , sometimes round the whole #. It is confuse.

You're welcome! I remember some of the RxPrep questions threw me off because of that too. They updated their question bank and clarified it a little bit more now, but some questions still will ask you to round but won't tell you by how many decimals. That was something I was annoyed with RxPrep because I paid for it and felt like I didn't get my money's worth.

took test today, it tells you to round one decimal place or to give whole answer. And some were actually multiple choice for the math...

I had about 30 math questions, kept getting harder, but I like math. The rest of the test seemed a disaster. TONS of select all that applies.. Like 50-70..can't even remember. Left miserable and was upset until today when I got my score. I passed with room to have messed up even more. Felt I only got 40-50% of the questions correct. the 35 throwaways really mess with you!

Hi Stacyuf1, what resource did you use for your maths and what should we focus on in calcs? Did you get ID and Onco questions?
Congrats on passing 🙂

I did the quizzes on rxprep. My employer gave to me it has like 85 quizzes 4 are calculations one is stats and one is kinetics. That's all I did for math. Mastered every math question. Good luck! I had one hiv side effect question and don't think I had oncology

Thank you,

I appreciate your response!!!!
Congratulations!!

I am studying Math almost daily. I am focus in the most common chronic conditions (Diabetes,HT lipids ,pain etc.) I am using RxPrep. Did you have ID questions? Because the RXPrep ID Chapter is huge
