Hey Everyone,
I've been reading this forum for a while and I've talked to a few friends that applied (and got in) to veterinary school. One of the things that has been bugging me is the way people round their hours. Ever since I started earning hours, I've kept a spreadsheet that keeps a running total. However, it does not seem like other people do this and they simply "estimate" how much time they spent. Honestly, it just doesn't seem fair, because estimations are always going to be higher than the actual time spent since human beings don't have a good sense of time.
Does anyone else feel the same way?
I've only been a pre-vet for 2 years (I changed my major halfway through college) and I've been working my butt off to get hours. So far I have made 1224 hours in 2 years. Personally I think this is a lot, but of course, it doesn't hold a candle to the other people on here.
Please forgive me if this post sounds irritable in any way. This may be a manifestation of my anxieties about vet school admissions. I'd appreciate any feedback you might have.
