My application and just received my first interview invitation! Rosenberg in San Antonio just offered me an interview, and offered 3 dates: mid-Oct, mid-Nov, and late-Nov. Looking at my schedule, I have a biochem exam on the first date, and work conflicts on the second date. So the only time that would work for me is the late Nov interview. Do you guys think it is alright to take the later date that they offered me, or would it be more advisable to try to change my exam date or work schedule to go sooner? Since it is rolling admissions, I am just afraid of waiting too long and decreasing my chances of acceptance later on.

Thanks, and any input on scheduling interviews or the RSO interview in general would be greatly appreciated!

What are your stats! I wanna attend this school🙂

Me, since Rosenberg is rolling admissions I'd want to compete for more chairs rather than fewer chairs. I'd tell the biochem prof to let him/her know what's up since that's your only october interview. They may allow you to take your test at an earlier / later date if they know your situation.

ok sounds good i will get in touch with the prof. i would rather not wait until the end of november. and my stats are 3.0 and 300 on the oat, with lots of extracurriculars and optometric experience. i am planning on retaking the oat during winter break if it is necessary.
