Hey guys..all those who took the Bench exam on 23rd and 24th....How was ur exam...
For me it was ok... I too the exam on 23rd and was able to finish everything in the last few minutes...I'm really worried though...passing is sooooo important and after working this hard ..i guess its upto lady luck...
Please tell about ur experience...

Time was tighter than I thought....my hands couldn't stop shaking...🙁

now I am all worried about the result coming up....waiting and waiting....you thought that life would be better after the exam, but it is NOT......

🙄

the result is supposed to be out that same night, why does it take the Board so long to mail out the news to us?

Irishcream, I was in the same day as you were, do you know what were tested on the 24th ?

thanks

I know I am as stressed out as you are....esp knowing that they will take 45 days to mail out the result.....its a long wait ....

The second day examinees were luckier ....they got the same preps but mirror image..
#15 MO ( MO is way better than a DO )
# 29 3/4
# 9 PFM

I guess timing was the most imp thing in this exam....esp becoz u are so stressed and anxious....I guess knowing the preps was good for people who took the exam on the second day..Good for them...!

I hope they compare those of the same group

Irishcream, will you please let us know once you rececive the result? ( just the fact that you get it is good enough) I will certainly do the same thing....

My friend said that it might only take a month, as it was the case for the results of the RT exam in May....

let's hope for the best.....

🙁

question for both completedenture and Irishcream - how did you prepare for the RT exam?

I took the duggan course for 3 months and after that I practiced at home...and with a couple of mock exams....i guess thats what I did..!

Hi Irishcream,

Did you pass Duggan's mock exam?

Acording to people who work for Duggan's, 80+ % who took his class pass the RT. However in my wife's last mock exam, only 2 out of 12 people pass. Is Duggan marking more stringent than the board?

Hi, I took RT exam on August 24th. I feel so bad even though I completed all of the work. Yes, time passed more quickly than I thought. Now I am worrying about my wax pattern. If examiners close the models with much force to check the occlusion, I am fraid that my wax pattern would break, for me game is over. Are there someone who know if examiners would close the models with much force or just close it lightly?

hello,
would somebody who took the exam this past weekend let us know what was tested the first & second day? I hope that you'll receive good news soon.
thanks

😱 That could'nt have been very easy. What was the time limit, 50 mins ?

No, that doesn't sound easy at all, especially the # 15 DO. Did Duggan concentrate on teaching you how to do that? 'cause we never once did a DO on a molar in his class!

First of all there is no specific time limit to any single prep....we have 8 hrs to finish the wax up prep, class II with amalgam filling and the 100% prep.....
Secondly the prep was MO on # 15 and DO on # 14.....I had taken a mock exam at Duggan's which had Class II DO on # 14.....so atleast I had a critique from him on Class II DO
But I'm sure # 15 MO was easier than # 14 DO....
