Yes, because in RTA 2 (prox tubule reabosorption failure) you get phosphate wasting, which leads to decreased PTH stimulation due to low PO4 levels. The decreased PTH activity also decreases Vit D activation and Ca, which than leads to decreased bone mineralization and Rickets/Osteomalacia.
