I have an interview in two days (on thursday). I found out I got into the school I really want to go to yesterday. Would it be rude to cancel the interview so close to the date?

No. They may appreciate you telling them why & expect them to ask you to reconsider, but if you're certain of your first choice, I think it's crazy to keep interviewing.

Which do you think is more rude....

Calling to cancel 3 days before or....

Going in there to interview knowing full well you won't be attending and wasting a few hours of everyone's life?

how do you know you really want to go to that school?

I went to three interviews. I'm glad I had the opportunity to tour three schools before I made my choice.

If you are 200% sure you are going to a particular school, I would cancel and not waste anyone's time.

no def not rude to cancel. your are not going for tea at a friends place.

not rude at all. the other school should have invited you sooner. lol.
