Rush vs UNC vs Brown blah.

anyone care to offer a line or two of advice.. would be cool..having trouble ranking Rush, UNC, and Brown, I can think of many +/- for each..

feel kinda guilty/worried I'm probably ranking places like Sinai and U Washington below all 3 of the above, since these 2 probably have better reps. well whatever. thanks

I would rank UNC, then Brown, then Rush..... heard awesome things about UNC and Brown, mostly positive things about Rush.

i think a lot of it has to do with what city you want to be in. for example, i think that chicago is a kick-butt city, and rush is an amazing clinical program. my friend is at unc chapel hill (doing ob) and she actually clinched it for me-- she said, if you are single, do NOT go to unc. so, scm, if youre single, maybe chapel hill isnt the place for you. (despite its awesomeness.) as for brown, i think that rush/unc have better reputations, besides being larger. it depends on how important name is to you, too.

ah much thanks, yeah name isnt important, as far as those 3 i dont think it'll make much of a difference. indeed, im not sure about living in chapel hill, regardless if im single then or not..i dont love chicago either but maybe it'll win me over. i do love providence, but im less sure about liking some aspects of brown's program..

i think the problem is that in evaluating programs just on their own, i feel like UNC>Rush>Brown, and in terms of where I want to live Brown>Rush>UNC


anyone else have any further insight?

anyone else have impressions of these places? i think i'll make my list tomorrow night, any thoughts on these places, if youve been there, might really help me out. k thanks
