Hi guys,

Im a first time poster here on SDN so go easy on me.

I have an interview next wednesday at RVU and am getting really excited/nervous for it. I was reading on the forums here about interview acceptance ratios and it seemed pretty high so I dont know if they are accurate and I cannot find them on the web. So, I was wondering if anyone knows what the interview acceptance rate for RVU is?

If you have experience interviewing there would you please let me in on some secrets also!

I know that RVU is a newer school so there may not be much information regarding this so anything would help!

Anything anyone tells you hear is hearsay, call the school.

A few weeks ago, the director of admissions said about 75% of interviewees are accepted.
And yes, it is true that they are selective in offering interviews. They don't want to waste your time and money if they really don't think you're a good fit.

I don't know if these are secrets, but you should be ready for questions like: why medicine, why DO, why here. You can pretty much guarantee these. The interviews at RVU are very relaxed and conversational though, so don't stress out. Just have a nice half hour conversation with 2 professors about yourself.

Good luck!
