I cant believe I forgot to ask this as its been on my mind since I landed my job months ago. So I am going to be working in an inpatient psych facility within a large 700 bed hospital setting. Will also be doing consult work and eventually some care within a med-psych unit. But ignoring that and looking at consults and inpatient psych which for billing will likely what I will stay under, how are RVU's coming into play for us?

I have a set guarenteed salary yearly that is not dependant on any productivity. However my bonuses are largely RVU dependant and I really have no idea how that ends up in psychiatry. Any more experienced people can you comment on this? How do I increase RVU's or how does it work
