I completely messed up. I wrote up a personal statement (3 pgs double-spaced). I re-checked the application: The prompt was "Please state why this program best suits your needs (MAXIMUM OF 2 DOUBLE-SPACED PAGES)"

Holy god. I think I am going to cry. I don't even know how to start. I have already consulted the help of one of my professors and she really improved my personal statement to where it is now. I don't know what to do now! Somebody please guide me!

Call the school. Tell them you would like to replace the personal statement that was submitted with your application. Send them the new personal statement and voila, your problem is solved.
