Dedicated should be a time for UW (2x) and crushing anki reviews soley in my opinion

At the end of the day it doesn't matter. Doing UW 2x thru is what needs to be hashed out here.
Whatever qbank you use to read thru FA, watch BnB, etc. is pre-dedicated as far as I'm concerned.

While I agree UWorld should be prioritized over everything else, the data shows a strong correlation in higher scores with number of new/different questions. Therefore, doing A non UWorld qbank with better questions seems more effective in increasing your score as opposed to using something to just reinforce FA.

For the record, I don't think you can go wrong either way, but it just makes more sense to me; the more questions you do that tests the same concepts from different angles, the better. I'm not dogmatic about this at all, but the one thing I do believe you need is UWorld, unless you're a bonafide genius. I've seen a few cases of people not even finishing UWorld and breaking 250/260. Those people are gifted. For the rest of us mortals, multiple banks (obviously UWorld included) OR 1-2 good passes of UWorld is a must to score that highly.

Yes my plan was very systematic in from day 1 of OMS2, before getting to dedicated, I was going to do finish my Anki decks / finish BnB / fully annotate FA. I knew I needed a qbank thrown in there, and for ease of use and sake of time, Rx was a good move.

Now all I do is 80-100 UW and day + keep up with anki reviews. I didn't finish Rx and don't plan to bc that time is better spent at this point in the game. Exam is mid-June let's hope they don't cancel June test dates!

UW 1x should be sufficient. I wouldn't do the practice questions more than once, seriously. Don't recommend Anki at all. Remember to annotate condensed sources with more descriptive material--whatever works best for you. Good luck.

P.S. If you got into med school you shouldn't need to do practice questions more than once 😉 Doing them more than once is akin to checking a test over multiple times--you'll confuse yourself and change too many answers. Don't recommend flash cards in general but to each his own.

I love hearing this since its definitely the move. Doing UW 2x is a waste of good time that could be spent on doing NEW Kaplan or Amboss questions youve never seen before. UW 1x plus incorrects is the way to go imo

Disagree. Doing UW more than once allows you to read thier fire explantions more than once and pick up on more details to complete the knowledge you have created in your head. Also, anki is a very powerful tool. I highly recommend, at least for bugs and drugs. We do agree on annotating condensed FA material with other sources at least!

I’m all for doing Uworld more than once simply for the great explanations they provide. However, it shouldn’t be used again as an assessment to see how much you’ve learned over the weeks. Especially if you did all of Uworld in dedicated like most people do. For that you should use nbme or maybe some other question bank.
