Daughter #3 got a wicked rash after exposure to poison ivy while on a mission trip in NC lasr week. We treated at home with calamine lotion and benadryl, but today it became unbearable and she asked to be seen by a health care provider who could give her something stronger. The provider gave her several meds, ointments and creams, and the following Rx for prednisone:
Teapoonful. 1 Take 3 tablets every day then day 2 of each month -5 take 2 tablets every day . D 6 to 9 take one tablet every day then every two hours then stop.
The tech, of course, was sharp enough to say "WTH?" and ask for a re-type into the clinic computer system.
