I cannot speak specifically for any particular course/company. I can share my personal and general view about the usefulness of such courses whether those are for pharmacist licensing exam or any other exams.
Crash-review courses may offer different experience to different attendees based on where an attendee stands.
For those who attend after they have throughly reviewed study martial (offered from the course or from any book/source) are likely to find these sessions reinforcing what they have already learnt.
For those who attend as a starting point in their prep, are likely to find that these sessions have 'oriented' them. So they know on what areas to focus more when studying.
I really doubt that anyone can walk into such a course and come out ready to go to the testing center. Prep for the exam require personal effort to KNOW the required competencies. Nothing can substitute that.
In a nutshell, one can say that any benefits, or lack thereof, from such a course depends more (or entirely) on the attendee. Some can pass without attending any such course, and some will fail in spite of attending.
What do you think, folks?
