Hey guys,
I am doing some of the online quizzes and scoring in the 70's on some topics. Although, I am quickly going thru the chapters, should I be really worried?

For those who took the quizzes, how did u guys do? Any similarities to NAPLEX/CPJE?

thanks!

I used RxPrep quiz bank to pass NAPLEX and my belief is that they ensure you have the knowledge base to pass NAPLEX, but the actual questions you will see on the exam are very different.... and often look harder.

I walked away from the exam thinking I totally blew it and failed, and only finished 168 of 185 Q's, yet I passed with a 92...

Study RxPrep, the 120 math prob posted here and if possible the Pronto Pass math... they say you should be at 100% of these tests, but if you score 75+, and go back and review the Q's you missed, understand the answers you missed you will be good...

This is my personal opinion from a 61 y.o. CA intern who worked 36 years in industry and now getting back into patient care... go for it!!!

Thank you for your advice. I need all the tips I can get. Do you know what's the difference between the naplex & CPJE? Is it basically the same thing and so does that mean I should study for both the same way (with rxprep & the 120 SDN questions)? And how far apart do you think I should space out the 2 tests? Thanks again!

The CPJE is almost the same as the NAPLEX, except for IV compatibilities, auxiliary labels (for prescriptions, duh), and maybe a couple law questions. You can study the same way as for the NAPLEX though. Take however long you want between the two (NAPLEX and CPJE) but I spaced mine out about a week apart, so that I wouldn't have to restudy everything

Thanks for your advice/input ravingrabbid. I just can't wait to get these 2 tests over & done with. It's just so nerve racking!

Does anyone know which book is better, the law book by Dr. Weismann or the CPJE law review by rxprep? I can't afford to buy both so I was hoping someone will be able to guide me in the right direction. Thank you if you know the answer! Did everyone enjoy their holiday? Happy New Year to everyone!

PM'd you.

Well, I still don't understand what "PM'd you" (private message) has to do with my question. Does anyone know which book is better? Dr Weismann's law book or the CPJE law review by Rxprep? Please if anyone knows, please let me know! Thanx

I'm speaking from personal experience. Haven't seen the CPJE law review materials by RxPrep so I can't compare the two but most of my classmates and I used Dr. Weismann's law book and thought that was sufficient along with any materials your school provides.
