I'm wondering whether to subscribe to the rxprep or the apha naplex review question bank. Any input? Apha question bank is a fraction of the price to rxprep

I heard that APhA was too detailed for the NAPLEX. I used the RX Prep question bank, studied maybe half the book, and did extremely well on my NAPLEX. I felt that the questions were fairly comparable. I also used the pre-NAPLEX on NABP's website to gauge where I was at before my exams. You can take that twice and I ended up scoring three points higher than my highest pre-NAPLEX score.

I thought RXprep was the best. Well worth the money.

I have APhA because they basically conned me into signing up for a dual membership and it came with that... little did I know that the book only cost ~65 while the useless membership I was obtaining was over $100... (I'm going to be military pharmacy post grad, so APhA does nothing for me directly).

I like having more information than necessary because then I have a more complete reference for use after NAPLEX, but if you just want to pass and never look back, RxPrep is what I'm hearing (and seeing above).

I use rxprep 2013 and not all chapters have questions and the ones that do only have like 1o. Is there a separate question bank somewhere?

Look at the front or back of the book to see if it has any information about an online question bank - I believe I've heard others talking about that so you might want to check it out.

Yes, I used the online bank. There are TONS of questions there as well as video lectures that I highly recommend. They are very entertaining, believe it or not. My personal favorite was the psych disorders.
