S.O. Applying to Business School

I am incredibly grateful for getting into a medical school in Cali that I think I will love. My fiance is applying to business schools (MBA programs), and he got wait-listed at his top choice, which happens to belong to the same university whose medical school I got into. However, if he doesn't get off the waitlist, in order for us to be near each other, we'll have to attend schools which we wouldn't prefer to go to. Would it be appropriate for me or him to write to the admissions committee of the school to tell them about the details of our situation? Is there anything else that could help?

Yes it would be appropriate and I would definitely do this, to say the least. Most schools make these kinds of concessions to couples (married, engaged).
