Sac State DPT Interview

Hi Everyone, I was just invited for an interview to Sac State DPT program and was wondering if anyone had any experience with their interview process? Any tips for the preparation will be greatly appreciated. There is a post from a few years ago about it but wanted to get a more recent experience.

Same. FEB 9th. We are suppose to get an email from Jerri soon for what time to come in for the interview, but I have not received an e-mail yet. How about you?

Mine said "jan 8th" but today is the 9th, so im waiting for a reply

Her email said she’d start sending them out on the 8th, so I’m guessing she might be sending them out throughout this week. I still haven’t received anything either!

The interview will be a panel style interview consisting of 3 interviewers (1 faculty member and 2 Physical Therapist from the community). I know it sound intimidating but everyone is super personable and approachable. There will be student that are currently in the program to greet you, give a tour and answer any questions you might have about the program or their experiences thus far. I recommend you arrive early before your interview time to hang out and mingle with the current students. Good luck. Sorry, late response but I hope this find you before the interview.

So how did everyone do? I was thrown off by one question about taking risks.

I also heard the scores do not make a huge difference, as the interview is weighted the lowest in the formula. One of the faculty told me most people more or less score the same.
All things considered, this made me feel like the interview was more for the top applicants to see if they liked the program or not.

I got an acceptance email the following Friday.

They quoted me two weeks after the interview, but I got an email today saying I am on the waitlist.

It said top 20 in my email.
