Obviously there are tons of factors that go into the admissions process, but I was wondering what a solid DAT score would be. The people on this website post ridiculous scores and are not representative of the entire applicant pool. My home state doesn't have a dental school so all of my schools are private or out-of-state. Is the general view that anything 20+ is a solid score and will get you in? Thanks!

A 20+ on the DAT is a solid DAT score, and most people are happy with that, but frankly there is no DAT score high enough that will gurantee you an acceptance, because like you said, there are tons of factors that go into the admissions process.

What about 19s? I take the DATs thursday and i think i'm going to die of anxiety. I'm not joking. I think they should give the PAT and QR section a little more time! But yeah, so what about 19 like AA or TS?

wouldnt it kind of defeat the purpose of the test if we had more than enough time?

You probably already know this, but I think you qualify as a WICHE applicant... so some schools may look at that as well.
