it is not easy to determine what would be a "safety school" because this cycle has been ubber competitive, which made so-called safety schools no longer easy to get into. maybe thinkin of gettin a high DAT score is safer than thinkin what could be a safety school if you wanna maximize the chaces of gettin in.

not sure there's such thing as safety school anymore. i got acceptance into some that i thought were a stretch, and haven't heard anything from others that i thought were "safe schools"...

Some are still easier to get into relative to others. I guess these schools could be considered "safer". However, all schools are still pretty hard to get into.

Armed security!!???just standing around, like a machine gun? or just campus security cops? I dont think campus security in Canada carry guns; I did see them armed with hockey sticks once however!

Please, no one shoot me but if there is a safety school out there, I'd say NYU is a pretty good candidate. The only one that regularly admits w/out an interview, accepts a ton of people and has lots of seats. It's expensive so many people decline.

Before you NYU'ers jump on my case, I'm not saying anything bad about the school as I have never been there. I'm just going by the numbers.

NYU; and unlike PDizzle, I'll say that NYU sucks. It's like a factory. Ask any dentist from NY

You have to understand that those schools that seem like safety schools have tons of people applying to them because they all think that they're "safe" and so it doesn't really end up being all that safe. Especially temple, they'll either mug you or shoot you over there. haha cheap shot.
