But seriously, what are the easiest DO schools to get accepted to? Is there any ranking by MCAT/GPA/acceptance rate?

What are the three easiest DO schools to get in?

Three hardest?

But seriously, what are the easiest DO schools to get accepted to? Is there any ranking by MCAT/GPA/acceptance rate?

Generally the older schools are harder to get into. Also lots of schools have biases for students from their state. This is more true for state schools. So schools like msucom / oucom / Tcom are difficult to get info if you aren't from there. To a lesser extent rowan/ wvsom also have biases. Some private schools also have biases. Pcom ga /pacnw/kycom/wcucom seem to fit that bill.

Besides that the older schools tend to get more applications and are harder to get into. Also schools in more desirable locations seem to be harder to get into. KCUMB/ DMU / CCOM / PCOM pa (most applications) are among the more difficult schools to get into. UNECOM/Westernu/ Touro CA/NY(they love hugh mcat)/nova/nyit/ state schools are also very difficult to get into.

The other schools mostly are a bit easier but still difficult to get into (Vcom/acom/Lecom/mucom/rvu/ burrel/ lucom/Pcom ga/ kycom / wcucom / Touro NV / atsu soma/ cusom etc)

LUCOM's old news. Besides, there';s always CNu to rag on now.

Im surprised this didnt turn out to be a subtle LUCOM hate thread!

Former banned poster, trying yet again. This time he managed to stay more rational. Usually the loose cannons can't hold it in.

How does one join a forum, make 149 posts and get banned 5 days later? Can someone check to see if thats a record?

The correct answer to this is the newer schools, especially if you are in the correct geographic area, right? Not sure why everyone got so angry.

Easiest =/= easy.

Lol I didnd't realize he was banned. Could someone post what he said to get banned or PM me?

Lol paranoid much @kenjixshadow? I'm surprised a pre-med forum would be filled with spammers....

I got rejected without II from my four safety/easy schools.

I got II (and a couple acceptances) from my four "reach"/hard schools.

Explain that. Oh. That's right, you can't because nothing in this process makes sense.
what were your stats if you dont mind me asking?

That "banned" avatar isn't just some kooky cheeky humor thing.

I wasn't sure if it was meant to be a joke or not, I always kinda assumed those people were using the "banned" image on purpose to show what rebels they were!

If a non-troll is reading this: the newer schools are likely easier to get into, due to lower generally lower averages and slightly less interest, but as @ChrisMack390 said, "Easiest =/= easy." Sometimes the internet gets the idea that DO schools are a breeze to get into, and as Goro's school's numbers would indicate, that's simply not true. Sure, maybe we're not Harvard, but we're not Greendale Community College either (my apologies if that's actually a real place outside the TV show).
