Hey Guys,

I am about to interview for an internship position at Vons here in SoCal. I was wondering if anyone has done an internship here and can talk about what their experiences have been like. I did a search and couldn't really find anything conclusive or very helpful.

I am wondering:
- What conditions are like vs. other pharmacy's
- Company overall (does it seem likely they will go out of business any time soon)
- Benefits for working there
- Is it more customer service based
- Estimated pay for an intern

If anyone has any info on what it's like to be an intern at Vons, I'd be happy to hear about it.

Safeway is a sinking ship. I predict in most major markets outside of California they will be out of business in 5 to 10 years. Safeway is the CVS of the grocery world. Management has thier head up there ass. They are losing market share in every major market. A very bad, very poorly run company.

I enjoyed working for Safeway as a student and pharmacist, but I agree 100% that it is a sinking ship. I also agree that management makes some dumb decisions. Overall, it was a better lifestyle than Walgreens or CVS.
