Has anyone interviewed with Salus yet?? I have my interview this Tuesday, and I am so scared! (I'm the type of person who DOES NOT do good under pressure) Any tips would be very appreciated! Thanks

I went to Salus for admissions counseling and a tour earlier in the summer. I really, really liked it there. Everyone seemed really nice and personable. Got to meet the Dean and she was extremely pleasant. Definitely see if your school career center does mock interviews, because that may help you out.

Salus is actually one of my first choice schools and I'm really nervous about applying. Do you mind telling me your stats since you got an interview? I'm in my school's Honors college, gpa is 3.30, and my OAT AA was 360 and TS 380.

Sorry for the late reply, I was busy with school and taking exams that I would miss because of my interview!

You're stats are great! My GPA is also a 3.3 and my OAT AA was a 310 and my TS was a 290. The woman I interviewed with told me that I might have to retake the OAT just because I got below 300 on physics but there was a big chance that the committee may overlook that score because of the rest of my file. I would suggest getting your application in as early as possible, because the dean was telling us that last cycle they were waitlisting students by January.

I also applied to salus! And my stats are similar to your, OP. How long did it take from the time you completed your optomcas apps to get an interview invite?

My coursework was verified on 9/10, I submitted my Salus application on 9/19 and I received an interview invite on 9/22. Let me know if you have any more questions!

When was your application considered "complete". Mine was on 9/24 and I still haven't been verified yet. 🙁

I applied to different schools at different times. But for example, I completed my Midwestern application 9/6 and everything was verified on 9/10. I did send in my transcripts in the middle of August, so that may have sped up the process. I would definitely suggest calling optomcas to make sure everything is on track, I know a lot of people have had issues in the past!

They will send you an email regarding an invitation to interview
