Salus MMI Interview

Any advice for preparing for Salus MMI interview? I am interviewing for the accelerated program and just wondering if anyone else had. Good luck to everyone!!

Hi there! First of all, congratulations on receiving an interview invite! In general terms, if you are going to have an MMI style interview, the most important thing you can do to prepare is to have a strategy for any type of question. That means you need to be aware of the different types of questions (i.e., scenario, policy, personal, etc.) and know what structure to apply to each one. For scenario questions, remember to remain non-judgmental at all times, identify who is directly and indirectly involved, and propose solutions that are rational and that cause the least amount of harm to those involved. For policy questions, show your critical thinking skills by looking at the situation from different perspectives and offering both pros and cons. For personal questions, use personal experiences and concrete examples to provide evidence of how you gained soft skills and program specific skills. Mention what you learned from your experiences and how you will apply this learning moving forward. Something else that you should do is familiarize yourself with the program’s priorities so you know how to show alignment between those and your personal goals.
