Samford anyone?

I was wondering if anyone has committed to Samford? I was also wondering what people are doing for their living situation. I don't live in Birmingham and was wondering if anyone had any recommendations on apartments. Any information would be much appreciated.

I have looked at several appartments online and found 3 I really like. I then had my sister check them out cause she lives in Birmingham. Lakeshore Ridge Apartments are just a few miles from campus and a few Pharmacy students live there already. My situation may be different however. I am married and have a kid! I'm not sure what else is out there.

Have you looked a www.appartments.com for appartments in the area? That has been the best for me.

I just got into school too and I have no idea where I'm going to live. I really need to take a road trip up there and check it out in person.

Hey everyone! Congrats on getting accepted!

When I went for my interview I looked at 6 different apartment complexes. I used www.apartmentfinder.com before I left for Birmingham to find places I liked. They put the apartments on a map so you can see how far away they are from the school which is helpful.I agree with mandersen2 about Lakeshore Ridge. It is really nice (only about 2 years old) and several pharmacy students do live there. It is about about 10 mins away from Samford down Lakeshore Drive. Wildforest is also super close to Samford if you want to live really close to campus. If you have any other questions feel free to PM me!
