Hi! I have a Samford interview on Feb. 8th and was wondering if anyone has interviewed there and has any suggestions! Thanks!

Expect response from samford's p1 p2 p3 p4.
Make sure you go through interview feedback in SDN.
you will pretty much see same set of questions...
and you will also write an essay... you will get 45 min to complete it.

how were you guys notified of your interview??? was it through a letter in the mail or just a simple email???

just wondering since samford is my number 1 choice.

if i may ask, what are yall's stats since you have already been granted interviews???

My interview invite was through an email and then you call and set up a date and time.
My stats:
3.4 PharmCAS Math/Science GPA
85 PCAT
Many extracurriculars and pharmacy experience.

when did you submit your pharmcas and such?
Samford sent me a letter a few weeks ago saying that I wouldn't be considered because my academic update wasn't done by their like feb 1 deadline. I thought it was kind of rediculous that they wanted that, but whatever.

Same thing happened to me. I spoke to Vakakas and I explained to her that I took a gen chem course as a refresher course in the fall and my professor gave me an incorrect grade. Hec, I took it pass or fail since I already took it 6 years ago. I did submit my updated transcripts. I was very nice to her over the phone because I understand that she must be under a lot of stress, but she was not very pleasant to me. Man, she is harsh!😡

PCAT: umm.. low. ha.

I submitted my Pharmcas/supplemental to Samford at the end of October. That's really a shame that you guys missed the Feb. 1st deadline and didn't get to be considered for admission. I did my academic update in December. I tried to do is ASAP because I knew that was the last thing Samford needed in order for my application to be complete.

klc: I saw on the other thread where you were accepted as well. What did you think of the school? You can PM me if you want!

Way to go being so young! I have a friend who's also applying to Samford without a bachelors, so that gives me hope for her!!

How long did it take for everyone to get an interview invite after your file was complete?

It was about 3 weeks after they recieved my academic update from pharm cas that I received an email for an interview. Good Luck!
