I was wondering if there is a forum anywhere here or elsewhere with samples of personal statements? It'd be great if they were pharmcas ones, but just anything related will do.

I'm sure that your intentions are good. However, most people (myself included) like to keep their personal statements private. I had a few close friends critique mine and help me fine tune it, but the only other people who read it are on adcoms.

Writing the PS is difficult. It can be hard to know what one should look like. I used this web page to give me some guidance:

When you write it, do so in a word processing program like MS Word and make sure that the spell checker is set to check your grammar. It will flag things like passive voice and awkward sentences and help your statement read better.
