UT San Antonio:
Duration: One and a half day long
Batches: One batch every Thursday-Friday, 6 batches in total
Interview timeline: Mid October to Early December
Interview calls on rolling basis: Yes
Acceptances on rolling basis: Yes
Interview calls: Any time from mid-September to mid-November, generally 3 weeks prior to your interview assigned date
Interview invitation: Phone call; once you confirm the interview date over phone, you get an email with your invitation letter
Interview pattern: Presentation, written exam, personal questionnaire, psychomotor skills assessment, school tour, interviews, and bench test presentation on the first day (full day, 8 hours). Bench test is held on the second day (half day, 3-4 hours).
Written examination: Yes, 100 MCQs with a mix of part 1 and part 2 basic knowledge (mostly from part 2 though). It’s easy as they want you to know just the basic stuff.
Interviews: One interview by two faculty members
Interview style: Foreign dental school experience and personal questions related to your SOP, CV, etc.
Other assessments: 1). Personal questionnaire with 30 essay type questions in one hour to test values, skills, and knowledge. This stuff is not anything technical, so you don’t have to prepare for it. These are just simple questions to know your thought process, personality, and spontaneity, each of which you answer in 2-3 lines. 2). Psychomotor skills assessment: This is similar to a module in DAT where you have 15 MCQs about objects of different shapes and sizes. You need to think about the best possible imaginary openings (provided in the answer choices) through which they could be passed when rotated about their 3-D structures. This is simple if you are good in imagination and 3-D stuff.
Bench test presentation: At the end of the first day, they will show you pictures and models of the preparations they expect from you and the burs to be provided.
Bench test: Now, this is the real thing. If you do a good job here, you are in. One class 2 on lower molar, one full gold crown preparation on upper molar, one composite build up exercise on a large upper first molar plaster model whose two cusps have been shaved off. Time management and conservative prep is the key.
Materials: The school provides all materials. You can bring your loupes if you would like.
Probability of acceptance: 55-60 students are interviewed for 10 seats; 1:6 chance of getting in
Acceptance calls: First choice applicants in each batch will hear the following Monday within 2 days of their interview by a phone call. Waitlisted and late accepted ones can hear anytime, but mostly before Christmas.
Rejections: Letters are mailed mostly in December and January

The first day was an introduction and tour around the dental clinic, the personal interview lasts 20 minutes and was friendly. There is a survey and professional test like part II(ample time). Basically nothing partricular to prepare for that. Can you please tell us about the overall experience?! As far as what to expect ?
