San Antonio Roommate

Hi,
does anyone know how to get a list of people looking for roommates in San Antonio (from either the dental or medical school)? Should I contact the school? Or would you guys recommend just living alone for one year rather than rooming with a total stranger?

The office of student affairs kept a roommate list when I was there. Contact them and ask if they still have a list. I found my first dental school roommate (another first year) from that list and it worked out fine.
