Actually I was trying to decide between Tufts and Penn. I never went to my USC interview since I really didn't plan on staying on the west coast. I finally decided on Penn.
But I guess if I was deciding between 'SC and tufts I'd consider how important it was for me to stay in LA. My friend at Tufts who's originally from LA isn't too happy about living in Boston. He finds the people there more conservative and of course complains about the weather.
But then I'd consider how the two schools do on NDBI. I think Tufts was 5th last year, I don't know about USC, but I don't think it's up there. I really believe you get a good education at Tufts. I think both schools are regarded as clinical schools, Usc probably a lot more so, that probably has some relevance on specializing.
