Sandy Grendel loupes?

Does anyone have any thoughts/opinions on these? I heard mixed reviews, some people say they are the best , others say they are the worst and I do not feel like throwing $1000 away. Also if anyone has been using a pair for a while that they really like , please let me know!

I just bought a pair of Sandy Grendel's swiss loupes and I'm currently waiting for them to be delivered. I bought the TP 710 and paid $1020 (they waived the shipping fee). I'll let you know once I start using it.

I have them and I love mine. They feel and look great... The only thing I kinda would like is a bigger field of vision on the 2.5x. I don't think i really need a bigger field, but it would have been nicer. overall, they are wonderful.
