SAR AACOMAS ID number question

I am going to apply for a fee waiver and it asks for a cover letter with the AACOMAS id numbers. The website also states that the application available now will not be the one for next year. I registered for the application and was assigned an id number. Will this be the same id number next year as well or will I get a new one when the new application opens this May? Would help to know when to send in the SAR.

No. You have to wait till May, or else anything you send to aacomas will be discarded.
