Now i need to withdraw ASAP from the other school i was accepted at as well as from another which invited me for an interview today. Also, i need to withdraw from the other 4 schools where i'm currently completed.
Can i do this through AACOMAS or do i have to contact each school individually???😕

i contacted mine by phone. some want you to send them an email so they have something for their records.
they probably give you a warning, and penalize you if you are going to put in a deposit. otherwise, they give your seat to someone else.
Don't let the deadline pass without taking any action. Try to decline the acceptance, pay the deposit, or ask for an extension. Makes things smoother for EVERYONE!

i totally agree; by declining acceptances/interviews where u know u will not be attending u basically open up an opportunity for someone else who may otherwise be waiting to get off a waitlist or get an invite.

you guys wish me luck too! Im really lookin to get into NSUCOM, which at this point is my #1 DO option and #3 school overall (UAB and South Alabama are #s 1 and 2 due to the instate factor -- closer to home, family, and 11K per year in tuition -- real cheap!)
I have a feeling though that I may not get into UAB and South Alabama due to my lower than avg MCAT score, and I really like the DO philosophy, so Id definitely go to NSUCOM (where I already have a friend who attends there and she loves it!) especially if I am not accepted into an instate medical school.
Yep! Soooo tired! If it lasted for like a month: cool! But noooooo! BTW I moved that statement into my sig, which seems to have vanished.

i'm going to use the last remaining drops of my potions and the spells that i memorized from 2 months of daily repetition.😛
winters down here are hell...right now we are suffering from a cold front that has basically caused the entire area to come to a halt as we, the local population, bundle up in coats and caps...i think its projected to hit the mid 60s by tomorrow morning...burrr😉

yeah lol, its winters like that that makes me want to come back down to South Florida. Winters in the North and Midwest are rough. I remember one night studying late for an orgo exam and the wind chill dropped the temp down to -25 F. Not fun at all.

The coldest temp i have ever been in was -15 F when i was in Copley Square in Boston...one night i'll never forget...though i want to.
Just think premed2007, next year at this time u'll be in sunny South Florida at NSU-COM...it don't get any better😛

yeah, i called Vicky yesterday and she said there wasnt, but i think i'll call in a wk, following the Dec. 15th deposit deadline.

that's a good idea; some people that r currently on the to be interviewed status will probably withdraw once they accept offers of admission in other places.
besides, i think it shows NSU-COM that u r really interested in them if u periodically contact them with updates to ur application or in other ways communicate to them that u really want to go there
yeah I loved it when I flew down for the interview, it was snowing at my school and then 75 F and sunny on the interview date. beautiful👍
