Hey what's everyone's experience so far with Save a Trip Refills ? Has anyone successfully had a patient's meds all sync up yet without a hiccup? What have you found to work well or what disasters did you come across? Have you seen insurances actually prorate the price?

I have yet to see a patient's meds sync up yet and now that we can set them up manually i still see the short fills just don't make sense versus what actually ends up getting filled. I kinda see this program going away in a few months. I feel like I could do a better job just manually managing it myself on paper with a calendar.

No I haven't seen large profiles synced but this lady with 1 med is all synced with SATR. We have WCB/CMD on just about every SATR workorder, not sure how they expect us to call for 50+ new scripts a day. It's a mess. It seems like a pressure bomb that's going to blow in a few months.

I had this pt with 8 scripts today but only 3 showed up when I tried to sync. Can you explain that? I agree with the WCB/CMD issue. The prescribers need to be on board for this to work.

yeah i see it going away in a few months. it's gonna be all short fills forever lol.

before we could manage it ourselves on that portal, i saw the system generate two short fills for a 2 day supply for a patient. lol!
