Hi everybody
i had a question .....if we get selected in multiple schools....what is the best way to politely refuse them when others call you on phone.......if some one has experienced this ......plzzzz do reply
thanks in advance

i think it totally depends on the school.. how conservative they are. but i asked the same ques to ine of my friends.. she said, say that because my family is there nd my husband's job is there, i will like to be with them and i have an option so i will like to select that.. Its really sad i wont be able to attent such a nice school but i need to take care of certain things.. I m really sorry and wish that some one equally deserving like me gets in this wonderful school.

I don't think school officials care if you how polite you refuse them. That's why they have waitlist. And if you decide not to go to that school. there is always a person on the list who will gladly accept opportunity to take your place.

Just say "I am sorry, but I decided to choose another school"

hi pulp stone this is not a big deal .......
they are already prepared to hear a no from their 15 percent applicants;;;and think that you are never going to be in touch with them after that.......you could politely say .....
i am sorry i cant attend your school, for some personal reason.....and they will understand ......and will wish you luck ......they are not gonna ask you whyyyyysssss
goodluck ......

I suggest politeness above all not because you'll probably cross paths with them(you might), or because you may seek a residency/AEGD positions with them (which you might) or because the academic/dental community is small (which it is). It is because gratitude and politeness is the way to go for a professional. 😀

(I am not suggesting anyone is unprofessional/rude etc. Just presenting my POV)

well said
i agree with you alll

I agree with La Fea. You must politely decline the admission offer. Courtney is very important in professional environment. Also you never know. You will need to go back to that school for post graduate program. Rather than making any fake reason, I would suggest making clear statement.

Hi pulpstone,

since your asking about being accepted, did you get any acceptance yet?

Regards

hi pulpstone
you don't need to worry if you don't want to attend that school simply say no thats it they will not care about it because they have so many candidate to fill up their seats so they will not care if you don't want admission

Reply the way the way they reply us by sending rejection letters. No hard feelings, nobody cares.
