So, since Drexel doesn't have an official way to decline their offer of admissions like most places (a "no" box on their response form perhaps??) how would you all suggest one go about it? An email to the admissions office? Write "no thanks" on their response form? A snail mail letter? Any comments or suggestions?

If you don't send in the acceptance form or the deposit, I'm sure they will figure out that you don't want to go there. However, if I were you, I would write a letter politely declining your acceptance.

I agree - I would definitely write a letter (via snail mail) and decline their offer. An email might work but it doesn't seem like it would be quite as effective or formal for that matter.

Hey, if they can reject us via e-mail, why can't we decline that way as well? 🙄

short, polite letter is the way to go. i would formate just how they format their rejection letters. just let them know that you appreciate their interest in you as a possible student, but there appears to be a record number of schools looking to offer you admission this cycle and unfortunately you can only entertain the most competitive offers. wish them the best in their future endeavors.

BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA....YEAH!

Politely refuse the acceptance and then ask if it is transferable. I'll take it. 🙂

Either way, you've got to reply...Give the rest of us applicants a faster go at admissions.

Call the admissions office up ,
