So I read in a recent post people didn't know about the admission status of southwest baptist uni. I received this yesterday in the mail. Not sure if this is just a delay to rejection lol, but if take it seems like they just aren't done deciding.

Anyone else have news about sbu? It's my last straw before I start worrying about 2013 cycle

Thanks for the aware. Where did you choose ? Congrats 🙂

Also if anyone knows anything about sbu, they aren't going to try to force religion down on me right? Yes I knowingly applied to a school with a religious denomination in it, but I'm totally cool with that so long as I don't get religion forced on me. Thanks!

I applied there and January and was accepted last week but I turned them down so there is another open spot! Since they don't start until the fall I think they just take longer to decide. Plus, they also have more spots than most programs.

True they have 80 spots. I'm a little skeptical about that 66k tuition though. I'm torn

I applied in October and was waitlisted in January. I haven't been taken off the waitlist yet but if I do, I will decline. One more potential spot! I visited the campus last summer during a family vacation. I thought the campus was in the middle of nowhere (I'm from San Francisco, CA so Bolivar might not seem like the middle of nowhere to others) and wasn't too fond of the program itself. I'm more of a hands on learner and the curriculum is structured so that all the bookwork and labs happen in the first 2 years. The third year is strictly clinicals. It could work out because technically you only have to pay for rent (which i thought was cheap) for two years and you can go wherever you want for clinicals. They also offered really cool study abroad clinicals to second year students as well. I guess it all depends on what you're looking for in a PT school
