Nobody ever comes in complaining of feeling strong. What would you say your hit rate is on finding a reversible cause for the weakness? I almost feel like we should do 1 test for every ADL the patient can perform, +1 test for having a heartbeat. Gramps golfs 3 days a week and comes in complaining he can't walk to the mailbox, he gets everything. Demented gomer who hasn't recognized their own family in years and is bed bound/tube fed gets a urinalysis. I think the general public would get behind this.
