So I have several hundred flashcards that I'd like to scan and put into my computer. Does anyone know a quick way to do this? If I did it anually using a flatbed scanner, I think it would take forever. Are there machines that can do this automatically? Any suggestions would be helpful.

Thanks! :luck:

At the place I used to work at, we had automatic scanners to scan charts in (as .pdf s) when we were going to electronic charting. granted, they scanned in 8x11 pieces of flexible paper, but there should be something out there.

Why do you want to scan them in anyway? Check out netanatomy.com, or search for other such "flash card" style tests on the 'net. A lot of 'em are from medical schools, and you won't have to 1) buy the scanner, 2) scan in flash cards, or uhmmm.. get a pet monkey to scan them for you?

I have a solution.

Get a digital camera, and take pictures of all of your flashcards. That shouldn't take too long. Then transfer all the pictures to your computer. Voila, digital flashcards!
