Scared about my practice scores!

So my DAT is on the 11th, and it will be my first time taking it (and it has to be my only time, because I'm applying this cycle!). However, my practice scores are scaring me like no other. My goal is 21+, but at this rate I don't think I will get that score 🙁 Maybe I should've applied to some easier schools hehe...

Based on these scores how do y'all think I will do?

Achiever 1: Bio 19, GC 20, OC 14!!, QR 18, RC 17!!, PAT 20, TS 18, AA 18
Achiever 2: Bio 19, GC 18, OC 16!!, QR 20, RC 17!!, PAT 20, TS 18, AA 18
Achiever 3: Bio 18, GC 18, OC 19, QR 21, RC __, PAT 21, TS 19, AA n/a (Didn't do RC...)

I'm guessing a 23, but you should be able to get in with a 18 easily.

As great that sounds to me... I'm still weary of how hard this test is going to be. I'll let you know if you made a good guess Wednesday haha

You are ready! Don't worry about your Achiever scores.. Achiever is made to scare people.. but your CDP and CDM scores look great!

Thanks! Math and PAT are the only sections I'm confident in hehe.

I just did Achiever 3, and I actually feel better! I improved for the most part (see OP for updated scores). I feel like there's not much else I can do at this point. Only one day left to review, what to do?? hmm...

go over separation techniques, NMR/IRmas spec. Then go to this page and read about glassware and basic lab techniques, http://www.dartmouth.edu/~chemlab/techniques/buret.html. After that if u have destroyer redo the conceptual problems in OC and GC. Then look at Bio notecards and reaction maps. If possible review conversion factors and trig stuff for math. Don stress out. Tell yourself "DAT is not going to singlehandedly determine the purpose of your life" And you will do very well buddy!

All that in one day?? Hmm... sounds daunting! I will do my best haha. I was going to just do flashcards for OC, and reread Cliffs Bio, and just hope for the best.

Question though, on Achiever test 3, there were so many conversions! Do I really need to know ounces to grams, and liters to gallons?! etc etc? I know my basics like temperature conversion, cm to inch, but Achiever used so many others.... 🙁

know these if u wana score 16+. real test was very hard on QR. I skipped all word problems and did the easy ones first and yes I did see F to C conversion. I guessed on 13 problems and ended up with a 17. Knowing these wont hurt you!
