Schaum's biology book

So i noticed many people from many threads posted that they use Schaum's biology book. is it that good? or studying from kaplan and destroyer is enough?
Also i saw that there are few different Schaum's bio books. Which one i should get? What's the ISBN?

I think Schaum's is too detailed for DAT. Cliffs AP and these Campbell's text links should be more than enough.

i used shaums and loved it. Yeah its detailed, but it helped me get a 23.

Hey would you mind sharing which chapters you did read? I am reading it now and it seems pretty helpful. Much better than kaplan's bio. Don't know how i am going to remember all the taxonomy and classification details though. ahhhhhh...

animal nutrition and digestive system
excretory system
circulatory system
immunology
respiratory system
hormones and endocrine
nervous system
musculoskeletal system

i then used cliffs and barrons AP bio for all the easy stuff such as genetics, translation, transcription, etc. Also used it for classification and plants. Shaums is way toooooo much for these subjects. Lastly I read princeton bio review to sum everything up
