Hi Guys,
I'm starting my freshman year at an ivy this fall. I'm trying to finish my pre reqs and MCAT within three years in order to apply EDP for my school's Med Program. The deadline for my school's EDP program is August 1st. Right now I'm planning to complete my pre reqs in this order:
Semester 1:
Bio 1
Pysch
Semester 2:
Bio 2
Sociology
Semester 3:
Chem 1
Physics 1
Semester 4:
Chem 2
Physics 2
Semester 5:
Orgo 1
Biochem (Undergrad does not require Orgo 1 + 2 for its bioche class)
Semester 6:
Orgo 2
Would I have enough time to study and take the MCAT in time to apply for its EDP program? Or will I need to complete the pre reqs within 5 Semesters. Another option I have is to try to take the old mcat and fit all of my pre reqs within 2 years, but I found the new MCAT to be much easier as I am stronger in the humanities and social sciences.
