So my undergrad has a set "premed" program, first year are 14 and 17 hours, sophomore year is 18 hours per semester, junior year is 17 hours per semester.I was wondering, is this a bit much, specifically for junior year? Im not sure how someone can adequately study for the mcat while taking that many hours.

If it matters, for junior year first semester is foreign language, physics, social science, & theology, and second semester is 3 core requirements, gen physics, and an elective.

I guess it depends on the difficulty of your classes. I took 18credits without a part-time job, and it was alot easier than anticipated. If you are not too busy with a job or something, then go for it.

I would talk to the people who took the premed program at your school and see what they have to say about it. It depends!

Depends on when you plan to take your MCAT. MCAT studying + 18 credits = death.
