I just recently heard back from a dental school about an interview. When I called to schedule a date, nobody picked up. The answering machine stated, "Due to the high call volume, we suggest you do not leave a message. At the tone, record your message." However, the interviews are scheduled at a first-come-first-serve basis. Should I leave a message anyway due to the nature of my call?

i would just keep trying. perhaps once every 30 minutes.

This happened to me with Roseman, it took forever but eventually, whichever school you are calling, they will pick up

Listen to the instructions. Don't leave a message, just call back until someone picks up. If this school sent you an interview invite, they're obviously holding a spot open for you on one of their upcoming days.

If this school is Roseman, try calling them early in the morning when their office first opens. That's when I had success getting through.
