Hey, I am in need of some advice. I am going to be a senior this year and have a full schedule set up (max hours). Problem is I have these Pre-reqs left

-anatomy
-orgo 2
-speech

Do you think it would be a problem if I took these 3 classes at my local community college, in the spring. I can barely afford to stay at my current institution this semester and get my degree so I can't stay in the spring, so i'm just wondering if this is ok.
The reason i'm worried is because anatomy and orgo are both upper level sciences and I am worried this will reflect badly on me. Do you think I should do an override and try to take at lease one of them at my university or would it be ok to take that at CC

I would like to add that that I took chem 1, the summer after my freshman year at CC and Physics 2, the summer after my sophmore year at CC.

All depends on your program and whether your school (or pharm schools applying to) will accept credits from the CC or requires it from a more accredited school. Personally, I don't think anatomy with organic chem 2 is all that bad, but it also depends on how well you study and how well you think you'll do. As long as you aren't working or doing extra-currics on the side it should be a breeze for you in spring.

Oh, I don't expect those 3 classes to be too difficult for me at Community College because I took Organic 1 at my institution and it was very difficult and I managed to pull through. My issue is if it will be frowned upon by my pharm programs

we really can't answer than question unless you give us more info like where you go to school and such. I'm pretty sure in CA a lot of the pre-pharm program schools don't let you take upper division pre-reqs at a CC.

It's best just to check with your adviser/school to see if you can take the courses at a CC and that it does not violate any pharmacy program rules.

Do well in those (3) courses - and be ready to explain why you took a step back to complete (2) of the arguably most difficult courses at a CC instead of your 4 yr university.
