Scheduling step 2 cs

Quick question: Specifically for applying to derm residencies, can anyone comment on timing for taking step 2 cs? I'd like to take it in Feb of my 4th year but am unclear as to whether there are many derm programs that want to see scores for step 2 cs before they submit their rank lists. Thanks in advance...

I got asked at prelim interviews if I had my CK score yet. I never got asked about CS. I'm sure you can take it whenever you want.

I was also asked about this during my prelims as well. They then answered their own question by inferring (aloud) that I am probably delaying taking Step 2 CK because I did well on Step 1 and was afraid of messing up. They were right.
